Joseph Dunn joined the Janssen Law Center in 2001, already a seasoned trial lawyer having practiced for several years at a prestigious insurance defense firm. With a blue-collar background, Joe is passionately dedicated to helping protect the rights of injured. His areas of practice include Medical Malpractice, Products Liability and Personal Injury.
Born in Owensboro, Ken., Joe graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois in 1992 and received Juris Doctor from the Southern Illinois University School of Law in 1995. Prior to that, he served in the US Navy from 1983 to 1987. He was admitted to the Illinois bar in 1995 and the US District Court/Central District of Illinois in 1996. He is also a member of the Peoria County, Illinois State and American Bar Associations; Illinois Trial Lawyers Association; American Association For Justice; and Phi Delta Phi.
The author of numerous legal articles, Joe is a frequent lecturer for the Illinois Institute of Continuing Education, the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association and the Peoria Bar Association*s Continuing Legal Education program. In a statewide survey of his peers, Joe was named a "Super Lawyer" and recognized as among the top 5% of all licensed attorneys in the state.
